As a long established food manufacturer, we are committed to giving back through a wide range of activities that support local causes, schools and events across Lanarkshire.
Supporting Our Local Community
From supporting local charities to providing opportunities for students and collaborating with businesses, we are deeply invested in the well-being and future of Lanarkshire. Below, you'll find some of the key areas where we actively engage with our community.
Supporting Foodbanks
R&W Scott proudly supports Clydesdale Foodbank, a volunteer-led organisation providing food to families across Carluke and surrounding areas. We contribute regularly to Clydesdale Foodbank and also support other Lanarkshire foodbanks. We would encourage others to donate or fundraise to support the vital work of foodbanks around the UK.
Engaging with Schools
We actively support local schools through site visits where we give students a behind-the-scenes look at our jam and chocolate production. We host career talks and mock interviews. Our team partners with Carluke High School and attends local careers fairs in Lanarkshire to inspire students and showcase opportunities in the food manufacturing industry.
Carluke Development Trust
We are proud sponsors of the Jam & Ham Festival alongside Ramsay’s of Carluke and Carluke Development Trust. This festival is a key event in Carluke's calendar and proudly celebrates its food manufacturing expertise, history and musical traditions with an exciting weekend full of events, including a fun fair, live music and market stalls.
